from camera to negative to handmade print.
LEARN black & white photography WITH 2M ZONE
At 2M ZONE, black-and-white film photography is taught as a complete analogue process. Participants work through the journey of the photographic image — from using the camera and exposing film to developing negatives and producing silver gelatin prints in the darkroom.
Rather than focusing only on camera operation, the workshop develops an understanding of the relationship between light, exposure, film, chemistry, negatives, and printing. Participants gain practical experience while learning the fundamental skills necessary to continue working independently with analogue photography.
